Martian Crater Strata Tell Story

For the areophiles among our readers, here is an interesting story from Science Daily about recent analysis of strata exposed in a Martian crater. Near the bottom are layers of rock formed from clay, with minerals associated with the presence of water. There's a map created by the researchers that is a projection of three-dimensional data, too.
